When you set the table with Höganäs Keramik you spread all the warmth and care taken in the preparation of food and drinks over the table and diningroom, to family and guests. Partly because our stoneware keeps your food hot. Partly because it simply is so heartwarmingly beautiful.

The high quality clay-fired stoneware is glazed to cope with being used over and over again, and because it's fired at such high temperatures to minimize chipping and cracking it's even suitable for oven/microwave cooking. 

To design new everyday tableware for Höganäs Keramik FRONT sought inspiration in the company's proud history and craftsmanship, but also in museum collections and our own memories of classic Höganäs products. Most Swedish homes have some-thing from Höganäs that has become part of our common heritage. They wanted to design a series with simple shapes that conjures up memories while responding to the way we live right now, every day.

The Front design team - Sofia Lagerkvist, Charlotte von der Lancken and Anna Lindgren. Their innovative, light-hearted, yet highly focused designs have taken the world's design fairs by storm and won a host of international awards,

It all began with our first potter's workshop here in the Kullabygden district in 1909. Here was the supple clay our craftsmen needed to create plates, dishes and jars. Here was the coal that used to heat our kilns. And from here, for more than 100 years we have spread that warmth throughout Sweden. Now a new Höganäs Keramik series continues the tradition, spreading beauty and joy.
